The Carolinas had a total of 12 attendees. At the Convention, the International Board released information about the new partnerships Circle K has formed with Better World Books (www.betterworldbooks.com) and STUFH - Students Team Up to Fight Hunger (www.stufh.org). Circle K also reaffirmed its commitment to raise $500,000 for the Six Cents Initiative and partnership with UNICEF. The House of Delegates, as always, proved to be an intense atomsophere, as Circle Kers debated over the future of their beloved organization. With additional workshops to attend to gain useful insight and tips, a wonderful honors night to recognize individuals who worked hard all year long, a chance to tour Denver, a motivational speech given by Brendon Burchard to reenergize attendees, and an Inaugural Ball and Dessert Reception to conclude the Convention, the trip was one I'm sure, no attendee will ever forget!
